sunday-nostalgia: This is my tattoo, it says “patient, fine, balanced, kind”. I got it because after I’d cut myself I’d listen to the song Skinny Love by Bon Iver and eventually I took it as though he were speaking to me, so those were the things I started striving to be. I got it in white ink so it’d look like a scar and blend in with the other scars and I’d see that if I started feeling sad again. It’s in my handwriting, which makes it more personal.
